What do out of state brides prefer? An ocean view. This charming wedding on the sand used a tropical theme and had a custom made bamboo arch for their focal point. The blue and white fabric blew gently in the breeze as the couple stood under it to say their vows, while family and friends looked on.

This classical bridal bouquet (below) and it's miniature toss bouquet is made up of white cymbidium orchids and mini calla lilies. Orchids are expensive for two reasons: 1. Its level of difficulty in growing, handling, designing and 2. It's desirability. But all are very worth the cost. Bride's bouquet = $75, Toss bouquet = $40

Yes, it's me captured in print, in the late 80s, by a National Fashion Magazine featuring subcultures who make up America. Looking back, I'm glad to have been in the article, but more importantly I'm glad to be a part of what makes up this wonderful nation of opportunities, rights, and freedom.
And humorously, I'm glad to have survived the 80's...I'm even more glad that the few things pictured below didn't survive into the new decades.

We reveal who we are by what we do. Besides floral designing, painting is another passion.
This is a portrait that I painted of our oldest daughter, Lulu, who was 4 years old at the time. My husband and I took her to Paris with us one summer - a summer in which we ventured beyond our abilities (to communicate with others in a foreign language, to physically endure the many miles of walking through cities above and underground, and to find our way around the local areas).

One thing we never tired of, however, was the absorbtion of the new experiences and sights...Night fall at 10:30pm in July, the architechture, the museums and galleries, les chiens in restaurants...Hopefully we'll get to stop in other cities and countries and then we can return again to Paris, and next time with both our daughters.
